Our Story

Your Senior Tech was created after seeing the same problem over and over again: technology keeps advancing, but many seniors are left feeling frustrated, confused, or afraid to use it.

Our Values

Patience and Dignity

We believe every older adult deserves to learn technology without pressure, judgment, or embarrassment. We honor each person’s pace, experience, and independence, and we take the time to make technology truly understandable

Access and Inclusion

We believe age, income, ability, or prior experience should never determine who gets to benefit from technology. We work to reduce digital exclusion and expand access to tools, training, and support for older adults of all backgrounds.

Safety and Protection

We prioritize digital safety as a core part of independence. Through education and awareness, we help seniors recognize scams, protect their privacy, and use technology with confidence rather than fear.

Clarity and Practical Education

We believe technology should be useful, not overwhelming. Our approach focuses on clear explanations, real-world skills, and practical applications that support everyday life.

Intergenerational Connection

We believe technology can bring generations together rather than push them apart. By engaging students and young adults in supporting seniors, we foster mutual respect, shared learning, and stronger, more connected communities.

Community and Trust

We build long-term relationships through consistency, reliability, and care. Trust is earned by showing up, listening, and delivering support that communities can depend on.

Why the Organization Started

The organization was started to address the growing challenges seniors face as technology becomes essential to daily life. Many older adults were struggling to use digital tools for communication, healthcare, and safety, often without access to patient and trustworthy support. We saw how this lack of support led to frustration, isolation, and increased vulnerability, and we began this work to help close that gap.

Who We Serve

Senior Tech Foundation serves older adults seeking confidence, safety, and independence in using technology. We support seniors living independently, in senior living communities, and in community-based settings.

We partner with senior living communities, nonprofits, schools, and local organizations to provide ongoing technology support, digital safety education, accessibility-focused training, and intergenerational programs. Our work is designed to be practical, human-centered, and responsive to the real needs of the communities we serve.

The Gap in Senior Digital Literacy

As technology continues to evolve, many seniors are being left behind. Limited access to digital education places older adults at higher risk of scams, misinformation, and social isolation. This gap is not just about technology skills—it impacts independence, safety, and overall quality of life.

Our Long-Term Vision

Our long-term vision is a future where every senior has the skills, confidence, and support needed to thrive in a digital world. We aim to build inclusive, community-based programs that promote digital literacy, protect vulnerable populations, and ensure technology empowers rather than excludes.

How Your Donation Makes an Impact

When you donate to Senior Tech Foundation, your support creates real, immediate impact for older adults who are trying to navigate an increasingly digital world.

A single donation can mean a senior receives one-on-one help with a device they’ve been struggling to use, finally understands a confusing setting, or feels comfortable asking questions without fear or embarrassment. It can mean helping someone recognize a suspicious text or
email before they click a link, preventing a potential scam before money or personal information is lost.

Your support also helps fund Tech Talks and digital safety workshops, where seniors learn how to use everyday technology, understand emerging tools like AI, and protect themselves from online threats. Donations allow us to train and support our intergenerational teams so seniors receive patient, trustworthy help from people who take the time to listen.

Every contribution helps reduce fear, prevent harm, and give older adults the confidence to stay connected, informed, and independent through technology.

Our Story

What started as helping with simple tech questions quickly revealed a deeper issue. Seniors weren’t just struggling with devices. They were worried about clicking the wrong thing, falling for scams, losing access to important accounts, or feeling embarrassed asking for help. Too often, support was rushed, impersonal, or simply unavailable when they needed it most.

We saw how different things became when help was patient and personal. When someone took the time to sit down, explain things clearly, and answer questions without judgment, confidence grew. A confusing phone became manageable. A suspicious text turned into a teachable moment. In many cases, a single conversation prevented a scam or helped someone feel safe using technology again.

Your Senior Tech was built around that approach. We provide hands-on, one-on-one tech support, ongoing community partnerships, and practical Tech Talks that focus on everyday technology and digital safety. We also believe strongly in intergenerational connection. By pairing seniors with younger, trained support, we create an environment where learning feels comfortable, respectful, and human.

Today, Your Senior Tech works with seniors, families, and senior living communities to make  technology feel accessible, useful, and safe. Our goal is simple: help seniors feel confident using technology so they can stay connected, informed, and independent.

Technology shouldn’t be something seniors fear or face alone. Your Senior Tech exists to make  sure they don’t have to.
